| Varieties Available | Ipomoea Nil | Heian (Ancient Kyoto) |
Heian no Kaori, or The Scent of the Heian Era, radiates a pure white bloom with a dark pink center. Similar to the ipomoea purpurea cultivar Jamie Lynn, but three times bigger. It doesn’t have a scent that is detectable, but is more than a delight for the eyes. Occasionally, the pink center may get larger to the point that it overtakes the whole bloom in color. When the sun light catches the bloom just right, it is like seeing a red sun rising over a brightly lit sky.
