| Varieties Available | Ipomoea Nil | Sazanami (Ripples) |
This cultivar is what I first encountered when I initially decided to google morning glory online. Prior to that, I just assumed whatever varieties were available would be attainable at any Walmart, Lowes or other local store. Much to my amazement and joy, the varieties they had were just a small sliver of the varieties available online. This variety, Ripples Sparkle, also known as Sazanami #2, is just as beautiful as I had hoped, once I managed to find the true seeds. Some blooms are deep royal blue, some are violet blue, and still others are almost solid white. They produce many little white spots which seem like ocean spray or fizz, very sparkling, some even have no sparkles. This is my favorite of all my favorite morning glories.
